Still surreal to me. Even one day later.
SO deeply inspired by Prince. In every facet of his work. His life.
No surprise to me that the news outlets can't get it straight about the location. Was it his home or the studio? As with any passionate creative who's dealt with creative inspiration in the wee hours, those two sort of mesh together.
He was such a force, an energy, a spirit. And if you think about it, really, those things can't be confined to the surly bonds of earth, or a body. As is the post-Easter message.
...and I'm here to tell you, there's something else. The afterworld.
But that's also, maybe in part, the reason this news hasn’t sunk in completely for me yet. Maybe, it because is feels feels more like a transition... of a force, an energy, a spirit, than a finality of death.
But this spontaneous energy, this... reaction... on Broadway's top show?
That's what Prince stirred up in us.
And is still stirring.
