THE EYES OF A CHILD [no. 2]
When kids won't finish their food, we turn it into an airplane. When they need to clean up, we turn it into a game. So, can't we also use that same philosophy on us? When we need to accomplish something that we're dragging our feet on, why not turn it into a game? Make it fun.
Everyone has 'to do' lists. For the current items on yours, plus those stubborn ones that seem to get transferred from list to list, over years, even, I've come up with a fun way to knock them out. Grab-bag them! That's right. Have fun with your to do list.
Think fortune cookie strips of paper. Write each item on a single piece of paper. And all of these items, big or small, important or silly, are things you've been wanting or needing 'to do.' Place them all in a small, fun container.
Each morning, place the lid on your container. Shake it up. Then grab two items (this way you get to choose one). And that's your thing 'to do' for the day. Then, well... nike.
Just do it.
