The first thirty-nine [Part 2]

Coming into December this year, "thirty-nine" has had an unexpected and surprisingly scintillating appeal to me. Plus, after a year of blogging I'm very much in a mode of embracing. We are what we are.

With the internet and our over-interconnectedness to everything (this blog being a perfect example) gone are the days of covertness. High school photos seem to pop out from the cob webs, DOB's appear on the freaking white pages. Really? Is that necessary?

Anyway.... hello transparency. So with that, I've actually found I'm embracing the upcoming "thirty-nine." Afterall, thirty-nine is a pretty rich number. Check out my random finds:
  1. 39 is the calling code for Italy.
  2. The city I currently call 'home', Silver Spring, MD is at 39° latitude.

  4. Dictionary defines it as: being nine more than thirty. Profound, I know.

Plus, I figure full-disclosure this year, will possibly make for a softer transition next year...

  2. it's 39 minutes after 7pm, as I write this. Wow, I didn't even plan that. Love the list, Wendy. Makes me want to write one for that magic # of 41. :-D
