B R E A D C R U M B S
There's a constant march forward, all through the year,
-----then you slow and you see, and you stop and you hear
The air it is crisper, the skies deeper blue,
-----the leaves are revealed, and perhaps so are you
As we enter to winter nature shows us her best,
-----after summer's commotion, it's time for some rest
But before the chill comes, summer kisses the trees,
-----with a last bit of sunshine to warm the cool breeze
Every year this one season's my favorite of all,
-----adding to many great memories of many great falls.
I couldn't find a quote that I liked for this day before the 1st day of autumn, so I
wrote this entry this morning. Photo taken yesterday on my 1st trip to "Great Falls"
on the Potomac River. And.... there's yer breadcrumb. Bonne l'autumn, y'all!
