Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back. Concerning all acts of initiative and creation, there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans
— that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events and issues from the decision will raise in one's favor all manner of unforeseen incidents, meetings, and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would come his way. Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now.
The breadcrumb in this is that 'Goethe' & Dearborn was my first address in Chicago. And 'moving to Chicago' was one of the first in a series of bold moves I've made in life. They still scare me and invigorate me. That's how I'm reminded I'm LIVING life. Also I've only ever heard the last [bolded] sentences of this quote, but through some quick googling uncovered the brilliant lead-in to the brilliant quote. Lesson? KEEP LOOKING. KEEP TRYING. KEEP PURSUING. GET IT OUT THERE. Then, trust.
Last Friday, for the first time, I did not post a Friday Photo as I was still chewing on my 5/5 post...
